Aboriginal Languages Trust: 6 Stories Strong
Project Type: Storytelling Series & Panel Event Video Production
Duration: 6 months
About the Project
Wiriiyn collaborated with the Aboriginal Languages Trust (ALT) to deliver “6 Stories Strong” a storytelling series that celebrates the deep connection between language, Country, and identity across New South Wales.
The series followed six iconic Aboriginal people as they shared their personal journeys of language revival, connection to Country, and cultural identity. Each story captured the power of language as a living expression of community, resilience, and belonging.
Following the storytelling series, Wiriiyn produced three roundtable panel discussions featuring Aboriginal language practitioners. These conversations, hosted and led by key figures from the project, provided an important platform to share insights about language revitalisation, community engagement, and cultural sustainability.
In addition to the 6 Stories and Counting series, Wiriiyn also produced media content for ALT’s major events, including cultural awareness training, the launch of ALT’s new branding, and the launch of their Strategic Strategy.
