NSW Treasury: Embracing Our Shared Future – The Path to Reconciliation

Project Type: Executive Address & Cultural Capability Video Production
Duration: 2 days

About the Project

Wiriiyn partnered with NSW Treasury to produce a multimedia campaign supporting the department’s ongoing reconciliation journey under the theme “Embracing Our Shared Future – The Path to Reconciliation.”

The project captured a Secretary of Treasury Address delivered by Michael Coutts-Trotter to Treasury staff, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to cultural awareness, inclusion, and reconciliation in the workplace.

The campaign also promoted the Public Service Commission’s “Everyone’s Business” Cultural Capability Training, encouraging staff to actively engage in building cultural competency across the NSW public sector.

Filmed across two days at The Domain and 52 Martin Place, Sydney, the production featured interviews with members of the Treasury Indigenous Network and other staff sharing their personal reflections on reconciliation, identity, and cultural connection.

Through authentic storytelling and visual representation, Wiriiyn helped NSW Treasury communicate its message of shared responsibility, respect, and cultural growth, aligning with its Reconciliation Action Plan and commitment to creating culturally safe workplaces for all.
